Meet Dr. Silk!

I'm Dr. Silvia Alfaro, founder of Whole Rhythm, LLC, a holistic and functional virtual clinic dedicated to restoring balance in body, mind, and spirit. I’m a Licensed and Board-Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, PhD, and Certified Clinical Homeopathic Specialist with over 12 years of experience in healthcare and trauma inform psychotherapy with adults and children.

At Whole Rhythm, we focus on root-cause healing—not just symptoms—through integrative, herbal, homeopathic, and holistic medicine. I believe that true wellness begins with understanding the whole person.

I hold a PhD in Natural and Functional Medicine and am pursuing a Doctorate in Behavioral Health (DBH), where my research focuses on women’s health and integrated health care. As a mother of four daughters, I understand the unique health journeys women face, from PMS and PCOS to perimenopause, hormonal imbalance and gut health issues.
